How do I add clips to my scene from my transcript?

Transcribing your video lets you decide what soundbite you want a lot quicker. Learn how to add clips to your scene from the transcript.

Looking to find the perfect soundbite from your Zoom interview or webinar? Scenery makes it easy to get there. Here's how you can transcribe your video and quickly add clips to your scene:

1. Select clip. Once your media is uploaded to your project, select the clip you'd like to transcribe

2. Navigate over to the Transcript tab - whether you're in the Project page, Canvas, or Timeline

3. "Click to transcribe"

4. Transcribe your other media clips while the Transcription is processing

5. View the transcript once your transcription is complete

6. Search for keywords within your transcript

7. Highlight a range on the transcript that you'd like to comment on, favorite or reject. Do this, so other collaborators on your team know what section of the transcript you are referencing.

8. Head to the Annotations tab when you're done selecting the timecode or range you'd like to save. From here, you can view all of your annotations and can can always edit the comment previously made on the media clip.

9. Select a comment from annotation tab to drop onto timeline. When selecting a comment from the annotations tab, notice the range appear in the bottom of the preview player. This will help you understand where the range is in the media clip. From here, you can simply drop the range directly into your scene by selecting shortcut key, [E] or clicking the "Add at end" button.
