Commenting, Marking, Favoriting, and Rejecting Media
One key process to making the post production process easier, is allowing collaborators to provide feedback on media prior to diving into the edit.
You and other collaborators can:
Leave time stamped markers. Markers allow the editor to keep tabs on what’s going on in the media clip. You can think of a marker as leaving a note to yourself. This will help when piecing your video together.
💡 Workflows for creating markers:
Select the marker icon every time you’d like to make a note
Drop a comment on the exact time stamp of the media clip. This will create a marker.
Set ranges for precision. By selecting a “set in” [I] and “set out” [o] point on your media clip, you are identifying the exact time frame you’d like to comment on or favorite/reject.
💡 After you set a range, you can:
Favorite or reject the range
If you decide to favorite or reject the range, you can always add a comment after the fact
Multiple collaborators can also favorite/reject the range you favorited/rejected

Commenting on Scene Review
You and other collaborators can:
Leave time stamped markers. Markers allow other collaborators to give notes at a specific time of the Scene. For example, the reviewer might want the editor to “punch in” at a certain moment and “punch out”
Set ranges for precision. By selecting a “set in” [I] and “set out” [o] point on the Scene, you are identifying the exact time frame you’d like to make a comment on. For example, the reviewer might want the editor to add a title for a specific range of time.
Reply, Edit, Delete other comments. On your comments panel, you will see a feed of all of the various comments made by yourself and other collaborators. You can always reply to other comments, edit your own comments, and delete comments.
Mark comment threads complete. You can also mark comment threads complete with a handy checkmark. This allows your collaborator know you are done with the task.
Managing notifications
In Scenery, you’ll receive notification emails when your teammates reply to your comments or leave comments on projects you own. The first comment will never be batched; however, the subsequent comments will become batched.
💡 Notifications are per user, not per team. You can turn these on and off in your user settings under “user profile”.
