How do I generate automatic subtitles for my video?

Scenery streamlines the process for generating automatic captions and subtitles, just follow along the steps below!

Updated over a week ago

1. Upload some media, with audio of course, and drop it into your timeline.

2. Select the "T" icon to access our Title library and select "Create subtitles”. From here, choose the subtitle style you'd like to be applied to your video.

You can also select the […] menu on any of the tracks and click “Create subtitles from track”.

3. Now that the subtitles are generated, you can adjust accordingly. Feel free to change the generated words and have them appear on another line. You can also change the font, size, color and the list can go on!

Pro Tips:

  1. When you change the position, font, color, or size to one subtitle box, this adjustment will automatic apply to the remaining subtitles.

  2. Get your edit into a good state before adding the automatic subtitles. The reason for doing this is so you don't have to make too many adjustments to the edit or to the subtitles once the subtitles are created.
