Building on our latest stream of AI-powered features to help you edit faster, we’re adding new tools that let you quickly remove filler words and control the pacing of your edit in just a few clicks.
Note: This feature currently works for English content only
How it works
Select the file you want to edit
This can be a source file (within your project assets) and/or a clip in the timeline
Note: If your video clip has not been transcribed yet, then first time you generate filler word removal, you might experience some wait time. However, after the first time you generate removal of filler words, the output takes almost zero time.
Open AI Assist menu and Select remove filler words
Configure settings
Note:
Original [keeps all] = Maintains all pauses for a natural pace
Smooth [3 seconds or more] = Works well for longer social media posts, podcasts, and YouTube videos
Steady [1.5 seconds or more] = Works well for longer social media posts, podcasts, and YouTube videos
Fast [1 second or more] = Works well for fast-paced social media posts and most YouTube videos
Rapid [removes all] = Works well for fast-paced social media shorts
Click apply
Note: a new scene is always created no matter where you select. i.e. if you select one clip in timeline, a new scene will be created with only that selection
